Placement Home:

DUIET has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell (TPC) which provides all possible assistances to its students in their effort for employment. The TPC is headed by a Training and Placement Officer (TPO) which in turn is supported by a faculty coordinator as well as student coordinators from each department.

The TPC assists in arranging pre-placement talks, group discussions, written tests, personal interviews, etc., which undoubtedly help the students in developing their overall personality. The TPC also organizes industry-academic meets with a view to establish a harmonious relationship with the corporate world and to make the students aware of the emerging opportunities in the industry.

The culmination of the training and placement activities at DUIET is to provide opportunities to students in line with their competencies and to help in finding their goals and ambitions. The effort of the TPC is to arrive at a win-win situation for both the students and the organization.

Placement Procedure:

Placements at DUIET, DU are organised and conducted by The Training & Placement Cell. Arrangements for pre-placement talks, short-listing exams, group discussions and interviews or video conferences could be made upon request. The recruitment process is as follows:-

• The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) sends invitations to the companies/organisations along with relevant information for being a part of DUIET, DU placement process.
• On receiving the company’s confirmation to participate in our placement process, the TPC will send a Job Notification Form (JNF) along with formal invitation to the company via e-mail.
• The company needs to complete the JNF, containing details of the job and the offer/opportunities, and send it back by post or e-mail to Training and Placement Cell, DUIET, DU.
• The company is required to send a request regarding Pre-Placement talks along with the preferred dates, if they are interested in conducting it.
• The TPC allots dates for campus interviews on the basis of information provided in the JNF.
• Companies may shortlist students and inform the TPC in advance of the date of interview.
• Companies visit the campus on the mutually agreed date and conducts tests/group discussions or interviews according to their recruitment process.
• The companies are requested to furnish the list of selected students on the day of recruitment itself.
